Sis Chwa Siew Eng’s

On the morning of 16th August 2021 my mum, Sis Chwa Siew Eng blacked out and hit her head against the concrete kitchen counter. Her head was bleeding then. I quickly contacted my brother and we rushed her to Changi General Hospital. She was admitted due to her rapid pulse rate and she had also fractured her hand. Due to Covid 19 I was not allowed to keep her company. When I could finally visit her 3 days later, I saw the peace of God on her face. I saw the eagerness she had to share with a patient who was calling out to her god and screaming in pain. She was so desperate that she asked my mum to help her. My Mum prayed for her and told her to call Jesus for help.
Thereafter my mum prayed for another patient who started chatting with her. My mum shared her testimonies with the lady. She enjoyed sharing testimonies and praying for the patients during her stay in the hospital. Praise and thank the Lord for giving her the desire to share God’s faithfulness and mercies in our lives.
On the morning of 19th March 2023 my mum had a stroke. Her speech was slurred and I couldn’t understand what she was telling me. I asked her to pray and we prayed together. The Lord prompted her to take her high blood medicine. Not realising it was a stroke we still prepared porridge for her to eat before we called the ambulance. Praise the Lord for preserving her throughout the journey until we reached Sengkang General Hospital. Several tests were done. Before they pushed her to the ward she could eventually speak. It was the Lord’s mighty hands upon her life on that day that nothing serious happened to her due to the delay in sending her to the hospital. The Lord has His reason for allowing so many things to happen in her life but she remains faithful. She shared her testimonies to her nephews and nieces when they visited her during CNY. We want to praise & thank God for protecting & preserving her life over all these years. To God be the Glory!
