God’s Mercy & Goodness Endures Forever
Having suffered a 4th mild stroke, the MRI showed no sign of tiny blood vessels blocked or burst. I want to thank God for His mercy, goodness and protection upon me again and again. Praise the Lord!

God is not only good to me, He is also good towards the people around me. My granddaughter‘s friend had handed her a cat for safe keeping while she went for a surgery. One day while my granddaughter was at work, my helper was tasked to take care of it.
When I went home that day, I remember pouring my heart before the Lord. I did not carry my sorrow and pain with my strength, but I told Him, “They are Yours, I give them all to You”. And I told Him, “Though I may not fully understand, I will still trust You regardless of what happens. You are still my God, and I will still praise You and use this life to bless Your Name.”
In my life, God has consistently been my provider, supporting me both physically and spiritually, regardless of the circumstances I face.
I vividly recall my journey to Singapore for my baptism ceremony, which took place during the challenging times of the Covid pandemic. At the airport, I faced a setback when I was informed that my flight booking was incorrect. This news left me disheartened, and I had to return home to rebook my flight.
On 4 May 2023, I requested to be dismissed from school as I felt my head was heavy and
hurting. Later that night, I began to have a severe headache and dizziness and started to roll
around in pain. The next day, my parents appealed to the paediatric clinic to have me admitted
to hospital on an urgent basis. The clinic managed to secure a hospital suite that cost $2,500 a
night not including the doctor’s fee.
Despite my family’s concern and advice on my health, having just undergone a surgery to
reinstate my colon, I am very thankful to God that I was able to join our Bethel Ladies
Fellowship’s (BLF) mission trip to Iloilo. Their concern was valid as the food there might not
be suitable for my post-surgery diet and food hygiene was also a big concern. However, I have
a sense of peace and felt that the Lord had called me to go by faith. I thank God that I did not
have any stomach issues and ate well there.
